Apparently there has been some talk that barney originated friends Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are no longer best friends forever after. Selena Gomez has a new best friend in town and her name is Taylor Swift. Eh. Taylor is how old and she’s still writing about the same damn thing her 50 other songs were already about – how she was a loser in school then the boy she loves never noticed her then in the end they fall in love. I AM SICK OF IT. Imagine being in a long car ride and having to listen to “Fifteen” by Taylor Swift. I literally wanted to shed a tear. I tried. I tried….

TAYLOR SWIFT ISN’T EVEN FIFTEEN WHY IS SHE SINGING ABOUT BEING THAT AGE?? GET OVER IT TAYLOR DAMNIT. IM TIRED OF HEARING OF YOUR LOVE PROBLEMS WHEN PEOPLE OVER HERE CANT EVEN GET A JOB!

Don’t try to run after Taylor cause she is swift and will outrun you into the mountains while playing her guitar. Haha that made me chuckle.

No this website isn’t going to turn into a celebrity gossip column – god help me if it does – really I just thought it was kind of sad because they used to be genuine friends and the business of entertainment split them up like a knife to a grilled cheese sandwich (with lettuce). I love Demi Lovato and her music, so let’s hope she doesn’t pull a Lindsay and get all out of hand and boozin’ it up. I did lose a best friend way back when so I kinda know how it feels. You are bothered by it for a few days but then you move on.

Moving on now, only time will tell! If those two are smart they’ll let it all go and come mow my lawn because I can’t walk through my front lawn without a sword.

I find Taylor Swift to be annoying too, and I really can’t stand her voice…some of her songs are alright, but they’re not even close to being amazing…she sounds like every other pop singer out there. I still can’t understand how she’s won like every award known to America. I’m exaggerating, but It’s close enough…
    As for Selena and Demi, I’m a fan of both of them so I hope they work it out. =/

  9. It can get aggrivating, and I totally agree about Fifteen, cause it’s probably the weakest song between all the music she’s made public. However, she built her fanbase on teens & tweens, therefore she had to speak to them somehow. She may not be that age, but she was closer to it when she wrote it, and she was 18 when it came out on “Fearless”. However, she put it out there because it’s personal to her, and she wanted to get the message out there that it’s okay to be different, it’s okay to feel like you’re lost in the crowd, because you’re not the only one in that situation. It’s definately not her strongest single, but it’s better than all the crap Britney and Miley put out there, haha.

    I agree with the point you made about Taylor being everywhere. It does get agrivating sometimes, I’ll admit (and I’m a huge fan of her’s!). Her voice isn’t the most beautiful, but it’s not cringe-worthy, and she’s really developed into a better singer & songwriter. I’m hoping that her next album later this year will be more mature, including a song called “Sparks Fly” (youtube it! It’s hard to find, because her management has removed a LOT of the videos containing it, but it’s because it’s on the third album; Taylor confirmed it herself). It’s more mature, and proves she can sing something else. Her songs are all about the same thing to a point, but the ones that aren’t, those are the ones that are making her who she is. The singles are great, but she hasn’t chosen the strongest ones, and I believe that’s why so many people are anti-Taylor, haha.

    However, her lyrics are what makes her different from all the stupid Disney wanna-be’s that have sudden urges to jump behind a microphone & make great use of Autotune. Selena can’t sing, Mitchell Musso tries to hard, Emily Osment is just a follower, and I’m not even gonna talk about Miley. Demi is the only one who can sing decently in my opinion, and Taylor isn’t that far behind, except that she isn’t a Disney star, haha.

    I saw that rumor on Perez Hilton this morning, and found it hilarious. He needs to do his homework, because 1: Taylor’s smart enough to stay out of anything like that, and 2: it really sounds sarcastic, because Demi hasn’t seen Selena that much, Taylor has. Perez is just stirring up trouble. AGAIN. Haha.

  12. I’m a fan of Taylor,but I would have to agree that her songs are all basically the same. Her lyrics are really good though, and Fifteen is a good son. she’s not pretending to be fifteen, she’s just saying that when your young you don’t always know how your life will eventually turn out and the things that happen as a teen may seem like the end of the world.

    I also don’t think Taylor is the reason for the split. I think they aren’t in proximity of each other, and its hard to keep friendships when you can’t have sleepovers or go shopping together. And maybe they aren’t totally split, you can’t know for sure unless one of them says it officially. Just because they’re maybe not plastering pictures of themselves together all over the internet or proclaiming their friendship on twitter doesn’t mean they still aren’t close.

  18. oh my gosh, i find taylor swift to be really annoying too. there’s just something about her songs that make me wanna go find her and be like, “DIEEEEEEE!!!!!”

  20. I’m a fan of Taylor Swift. I like how her songs are about HER life not some random song about nothing. Fifteen may not be the best song of hers but it does send a message across. Yeah yeah she may not be fifteen NOW but she doesn’t have to be fifteen to sing about BEING fifteen.
    But yeah she does sing about the same thing in a few songs :S

    I am actually a fan of neither but if I had to pick I’d pick Taylor because I love her songs and while her voice isn’t the best, it doesn’t entirely annoy me like Lovato’s. Lovato’s sounds like the typical girly girl while Taylor’s is a little more real and gritty and I like that.

    But as for the best friends thing, well if its true it sucks. I’ve lost a best friend before and it doesn’t matter how rich you are, it still hurts. Difference us she can afford a therapist lol.

  23. Hmm, clairessa, I think you should say “ I THINK THAT DEMI..” than to say that you’re sure about what Demi sounds like. Demi is still very young, and she’ll be much more better in time. And I’m a big fan of hers AND Taylor Swift, and I have to say that I don’t have anything against both of them ^^ I love them both. And they sing a total different style of music, demi used to sing teen rock, now just rock and a bit pop, and taylor is all poppy and country. so :/ but whatsoever, i think that taylor shouldn’t mess with with selena and demi’s friendship.and maybe everything about taylor being bff now with selena is just a massive lie, because journalist’s lie…and write anything to make money and be more popular ;)

  25. Honestly, I know you have your own opinions and I respect that, but Taylor isn’t saying she’s fifteen, morons. If you would listen to the damn lyrics, she talks about not knowing back then what she knows now. Hence the lyrics ‘didn’t know who I was supposed to be at fifteen’ She’s singing to fifteen years old, not saying that she is fifteen. Another thing, grow up. Just because Selena is hanging out with Taylor now, and not Demi, doesn’t mean you have to bash her. God, get a fucking life.
