For this tutorial, I will use any old colored background...


Now...use your SHAPE toolto create a sqaure, but before you do make sure your settings match mine


After that, drag your cursor on the picture and make the square. After you've created it go to your later palette (if you dont have it out press f8) and then lower the opacity



And viola, you're all done!
