Gaussian Blur
For this tutorial, I will be using this picture:
First, make sure your layer palette is out, simply press F8 for it to pop up.
Now, duplicate the current layer by clicking the
located on the layer palette. There should now be two background layers.
(make sure you are using the DUPLICATED background layer) Now, go to adjust>blur>gaussian blur.
You can set the radius to whatever suits you, but for this tutorial we'll put 2.65.
Press okay. Now go back to your layer palette, and set the background layer to Overlay.
