We're going to be experimenting with gradients for this tutorial. I'm going to be using this picture of Mischa Barton:


Now, I'm going to be choosing a gradient to give the picture some extra color. If you don't know how to make your own gradients, learn how.

I'm going to be using this gradient. You can copy and paste it over the picture if you'd like.


Set the layer to soft light. Now you picture should look like this:


It's a bit decent looking. Now duplicate the base layer and drag it to the top and set it to soft light.

Your layer palette should look like this:

Experiment with different color gradients and layer settings to see what you can come up with :)
