Text Masking
Now I'm going to get out my text tool and write whatever I want.

After that we're going to select what we want to add inside the text. This can be anything from a texture to some text. For the text I'll be using this stock. Now paste the stock onto your document. Then drag your text layer to the top so the text is on top of everything. Your layer palette should look like this:

Now arrange the text wherever you'd like. Once you're done, get out your Magic Wand Tool and while pressing SHIFT, select all your black text.

After that drag your stock text layer back to the top. When you do this you should see how your new text will turn out. To activate the mask, click the mask tool on the bottom of your palette.

You can try this with all sorts of textures, and not only text but also with images. Experiment all you want!
