Learn this transition

  1. Make a new raster layer. Fill it with the color #2FD9FD and set it to Screen.
  2. Duplicate the base picture, drag it to the top and set it to Overlay.
  3. Duplicate the base picture, drag it to the top and set it to Soft Light. Duplicate the base picture, drag it to the top and go to Adjust > Brightness and Contrast > Gamma Correction and match your settings to mine:

You might need to uncheck the LINK option to correctly manage all the numbers. Once you’re done, set this layer to Burn at 76%.
  4. Duplicate the Gamma layer (the one you just set to burn) and change the layer settings to Hard Light at 8%.

  14. I just finished this tutorial and my end pic ended up exactly how it was supposed to!! I use PSP X2 and once I found where the gamma correction was located (adjust>brightness/contrast>histogram adjustment, then use the gamma setting) I was able to complete the process.

  16. oh, for the people who don’t have the gamma correction, i found a replacement. if you do a new layer with the colour # 2f05c7 , and set it to overlay, on top of alll layers. set the opacity to 39% , it should work. (:
i was playing around with the colours and i found a substitution :D

  22. So this is super effing late, but for all you PS CS3 users, Gamma Correction is under Exposure in the Image menu. Image >> Adjustments >> Exposure. Hope that helps.
